35th International Forfaiting Conference

We are delighted to invite you to attend the 35th International Forfaiting Conference that will be held this year at the InterContinental Hotel, Prague, Czech Republic from Wednesday 3rd September to Friday 5th September 2008.

As in previous years the Conference will open with lunch on Wednesday and conclude with lunch on Friday.

Please find as follows the Conference Application Form which we ask you to complete before 25th July 2008, and which will be sent to our conference organisers, International Conference Solutions Ltd.

We consider the annual conference as a core part of the forfaiting market and a good chance for all the market to exchange views with each other. We do hope that you will be able to participate and we look forward to having the chance to welcome you to the friendly city of Prague.

CONFERENCE VENUE

The IFA Conference will take place from 3rd - 5th September 2008 at the InterContinental Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.

The InterContinental Hotel Prague is located above the hilly banks of the Vltava River and provides a sophisticated setting. The hotel offers an array of amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, heated pool, Jacuzzi, three unique restaurants/cafes and a fully equipped business centre. The 372 guest rooms have recently been renovated.

A coach shuttle service will operate between Prague Airport and the InterContinental Prague at regular intervals on Wednesday 3rd and Friday 5th September 2008. (Taxis to the hotel from Prague Airport are approximately € 35- €40.)

REGISTRATION FEES

COSTS

The fees are: EUR 1,850.00 for IFA/AFIA members
  EUR 2,350.00 for non-members of IFA
  EUR 1,200.00 for Local Delegates (no accommodation)
  EUR 1,700.00 for non-member Local Delegates
  EUR 600.00 for partners/spouses

 

 

 

In order to gain entitlement to the reduced rate for IFA members, prospective participants are required to have enrolled as members of IFA. Companies enrolling 3 or more delegates are entitled to a 10% discount on the above fees.

The Conference Fee for Delegates includes:
Transportation to/from airport on Wednesday and Friday, conference lunches, coffee breaks and dinners as printed in the programme, accommodation in a double room for single occupancy on Wednesday and Thursday night, breakfast on Thursday and Friday and all conference documentation.

The Conference Fee for Local Delegates includes:
Conference lunches, coffee breaks and dinners as printed in the programme and all conference documentation.

The Conference Fee for Partners/Spouses includes:
Transportation to/from airport on Wednesday and Friday, conference lunches, dinners as printed in the programme, accommodation in a double room on Wednesday and Thursday night, breakfast on Thursday and Friday.

Any other activities (e.g. telephone calls, leisure activities) are to be settled directly with the hotel.
Delegates wishing to stay extra nights need to pay a supplement.

Please be aware that your application will only be accepted once full payment of the conference fee has been made. The indicated fee is to be paid in Euros inclusive of all bank charges. Payment must be received by 25th July. Any cancellations received after 25th July are non-refundable. All cancellations incur an €100 charge

Should technical reasons beyond the control of the organisers make any changes necessary, the organisers cannot be held responsible. The organisers are acting as agents and cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damages to any person or property whatever the cause may be. The participant(s) take(s) part in any tour and trip at his or her own risk. Only written arrangements are binding. We kindly ask you to authorise us to use all registration data given in the attached form for use to organise and run the Conference by signing the attached application form. English law shall apply and place of jurisdiction is London.
